TranDuc Corporation Receives "Sustainable Development Pioneer Enterprise" Title at VSCF Awards 2026
At the event, TranDuc introduced its sustainable material solutions to the community of architects, investors, and industry partners in Hanoi, and took part in a keynote presentation on the company's journey to build a Mass Timber ecosystem in Vietnam and the role of technical standards in the industry's sustainable development.
Among the solutions presented, TD ShieldWood — an engineered timber system developed for Vietnam's tropical climate — drew particular interest from experts and partners at the forum. Built on three core technologies — Thermo modification, H-Grade treatment, and Engineered Lamination — TD ShieldWood directly addresses the concerns Vietnamese timber users care about most: termite resistance, warping, and long-term durability, backed by a 10-year termite-free warranty on its interior product lines.
Also introduced was Mass Timber, an engineered timber structural system produced on Southeast Asia's first manufacturing line to apply European technology — presented as a sustainable alternative to steel and concrete for large-scale construction projects.

In the keynote session, TranDuc's representative shared perspectives on the challenge of efficient construction amid rising labor costs, noting that engineered timber solutions such as Mass Timber can shorten construction time by 30–50% compared to traditional methods, significantly reduce on-site labor, and improve quality control through factory-based production.
TranDuc also emphasized the importance of a technical standards system as the foundation for the sustainable growth of Vietnam's timber construction industry. For the industry to develop in the right direction, three factors must converge: technology, production capacity, and a cohesive technical standards framework. With these three foundations in place, Vietnam's wood-processing industry can shift from exporting raw materials to exporting high-value-added construction solutions and components — contributing directly to the Net Zero 2050 target.

VSCF Awards 2026 is a specialized award presented as part of the Vietnam Sustainable Construction Forum, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Construction and Building Materials Association (SACA), under the patronage of the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). The Vietnam Sustainable Construction Industry Pioneer Enterprise title is selected through an independent evaluation process that honors enterprises actively driving the green transition, innovation, governance effectiveness, competitiveness, social responsibility, and contributions to the sustainable development of Vietnam's construction industry.
